• Once the proposed design has passed FEA simulation, physical tow bar samples are made and the arduous Toyota global durability testing program begins

• Tow bar welds are critical to the overall strength and performance of the tow bar, that’s why a percentage of tow bars from the production assembly line are dissected and analysed under a microscope to ensure compliance to Toyota’s weld quality standards

• All tow bar fasteners and powder coating must comply with Toyota Global quality standards to ensure no rust or corrosion occurs under normal operating conditions

Toyota Load Distribution Hitch (LDH) Compatible

• Toyota Genuine Tow Bars and the LDH combine together to provide improved handling for an overall safer towing experience

• The Toyota LDH is designed for vehicle specific applications to ensure the correct load distribution between the vehicle and trailer

• Unlike many aftermarket products, Toyota carefully considers the wire thickness, protection and routing to prevent the risk of electrical fire due to overloading or short circuit

• All Toyota external electrical connectors are waterproof which may not be the case when installing an aftermarket product
